Fort Bend County will begin drainage improvements on the Flatbank Channel on September 6, 2022 and is expected to end in March 2023.
The improvement project consists of removing the existing unstable soils at the damaged locations and improving with rock riprap installed at the toe of the slope to prevent future erosion.
The attached map illustrates the areas to be improved (blue boxes) and the construction entrances/exits (orange boxes) on LJ Parkway and Sienna Ranch Road. Please be mindful of the construction entrances and exits and allow yourself additional drive time due to possible slow traffic flow during this drainage improvement project.
